“Which color did you focus the most upon?”
(𝘊𝘩𝘦𝘤𝘬 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘸 120 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘥𝘪𝘥)
I asked this question to a sample population of 120 people from my network.
75% of them focused on the green color, the one in the middle.
While the rest 25% were equally spaced between the remaining 4 colors.
Why did most people choose the middle color?
Because of the “Center Stage Effect”, a phenomena that when presented with a number of choices people have a tendency to select the middle option.
Also, a study was conducted indicating what people look at when choosing between 3 options in the initial and the final 0.5 seconds.
Results suggested that 65–80% of the people tend to look at the middle choice in initial 0.5 seconds.
And almost 60–70% tend to look at the middle choice in the final 0.5 seconds.
I know we fight, but it just might
Be because our feelings collide
We resonate at the same hertz
Maybe that’s why it hurts
Some things can’t go forever, some things you can’t control
But you will still cherish them, because they make you whole
Sometimes you’ll want to end them, sometimes let them just go
Sometimes you’ll want to hold them tight
So you can hear their heart’s echo
Sometimes you think it is over
You think it just can’t work
But new leaves still spring after winters
There’s always this perk
Maybe you can’t go forever, maybe it’s a hard endeavor
But it’s harder not to follow it
Because you know… that this won’t happen again ever
